The 90 Day Fiance couple Eveyn Cormier and David Vasquez Zermeno are splitting up after four years of marriage. Cormier, aged 22, made the divorce announcement on November 29. Zermeño, aged 30, did not comment on the split yet. The wife reportedly told fans about the divorce during Instagram Live. She also took down photos of her husband from her social media.
The 90 Day Fiance couple met when Cormier was 18. They both appeared in Season 5 of the show and tied the knot in 2017. Cormier was placed in the top 14 on season 17 of American Idol. The couple relocated from New Hampshire to Los Angeles for their career.
In February, Cormier once commented that she was annoyed that people constantly asked her whether she and her husband were still together or checking whether she was wearing her wedding ring. She further added that she does a lot of modeling and does not always wear the wedding ring but that doesn’t mean something is wrong. She said people like to make speculations and tend to ask rude questions. She added that the couple’s show Love Games brought them closer as a couple.
Cormier said that they both wanted to make sure they came up with the answers for things people might ask but people surprised them by throwing a lot of curveballs.
The musician also added in the same interview that she and her husband both wanted kids, hopefully in the next five years, since she had just turned 22 and wasn’t feeling ready to be a full-time mom, being busy with her music and writing career. She also announced that she was publishing her first novel this year and added that she didn’t have enough time to devote to kids.
